Farzeen Ashik is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Ascend Consulting LLC, an executive and leadership coaching and advisory firm based in Oman and the UAE, serving clients across the GCC and globally.
Farzeen is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 2,000 hours of executive coaching experience, partnering with C-suite executives, senior leaders, and high-potential talent across complex, high-stakes environments. She is widely recognised for her ability to guide leaders through critical transitions, transformational change, and leadership inflection points, combining strategic depth with strong behavioural and human insight .
She is a Certified Executive Transition Coach, trained under Navid Nazemian, recognised by CEO Today as the world’s number one executive coach. Her work in executive transitions focuses on accelerating leader effectiveness, strengthening executive presence and stakeholder credibility, and reducing transition risk during the first 6–12 months in role.
Farzeen brings over 15 years of experience in HR, leadership development, and strategic advisory, underpinned by a rare interdisciplinary background in Computer Engineering, Psychology, and Human Resources. This enables her to work fluently at the intersection of systems, strategy, and human behaviour—an approach particularly valued by senior leaders navigating complexity, uncertainty, and large-scale change .
She has coached and advised leaders across sectors including oil and gas, energy and utilities, healthcare, banking and financial services, logistics, management consulting, education, and public and government organisations. Her client portfolio includes senior leaders and leadership teams from prominent regional and international organisations such as PDO, Shell, McKinsey, KPMG, Pepsi, OQ, Asyad, Sohar Aluminium, Nama Water Services, Bank Dhofar, Omran, OPAL, Petrofac, Medco, Renaissance Group, and multiple government and semi-government entities .
Farzeen is a Certified Hogan Assessor and EFPA certified, and is highly experienced in conducting Hogan assessments, 360-degree feedback processes, and executive debriefs. She works closely with CHROs, HR leaders, and business sponsors to design customised development journeys, succession pipelines, and leadership interventions aligned with organisational strategy and measurable business outcomes.
A key pillar of Farzeen’s practice is executive and leadership coaching for women leaders, where she supports women in strengthening executive presence, navigating power and stakeholder dynamics, increasing visibility and influence, and preparing for senior and board-level roles.
In addition to coaching, Farzeen designs and delivers high-impact, experiential leadership and executive training programmes focused on executive presence, strategic influence, change leadership, organisational agility, and culture transformation. Farzeen holds a B.Tech in Computer Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, an MBA in Human Resources from S.P. Jain Institute of Management, and certifications from ICF (PCC), Hogan Assessments, CIPD (UK), London School of Economics, along with advanced training in emotion-centred coaching, executive transition coaching and the neuroscience of change .
